Kazipet: Police seized demonetised ₹500 and ₹1,000 notes worth ₹1.38 crore and arrested eight persons during vehicle checks on Friday night. They also recovered ₹6,000 in cash, a car and 10 mobile phones. The accused allegedly planned to circulate the withdrawn currency notes. A case has been registered.
