Sudhakaran’s remarks —projecting Chennithala as his preferred chief ministerial candidate— are being viewed as a calculated political signal at a time when multiple power centres are active within state Congress.Kurien’s statement at a public convention, confidently declaring Chennithala as the next chief minister if UDF wins, has further sharpened the narrative.
