Damien Phillips has joined BMI Group as General Counsel, becoming part of the company’s executive leadership team and taking charge of its global legal function. Prior to joining BMI Group, Phillips served as Group General Counsel at Spectris plc, a global precision instrumentation and controls group.
Phillips brings over 25 years of experience across corporate legal, compliance and risk. In his new role, he will provide strategic legal direction to BMI Group across its diverse jurisdictions and support the company’s compliance framework.
Announcing his appointment, Phillips said he was delighted to have joined BMI Group and was looking forward to working with the team.
BMI Group is a global roofing and waterproofing solutions business headquartered in Reading, UK. The company operates more than 110 production facilities across Europe, Africa and Asia and employs more than 8,500 people worldwide.
