The govt remains committed to balancing development with public interest, he added. The decision is expected to bring relief to landowners and residents who had been uncertain about carrying out property transactions in the township.According to the minister, landowners can now buy, sell and transfer land in accordance with the applicable rules without any of the earlier restrictions.
