Mangaluru: Amid disruptions triggered by the ongoing West Asia crisis, New Mangalore Port is set for a steady inflow of crude and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) vessels this week.A Russian tanker, Aqua Titan, chartered by Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), completed crude operations on Sunday. The vessel, which originally sailed from Primorsk to Rizhao, altered course mid-journey in Southeast Asia to dock at New Mangalore Port. It unloaded 96,099.8 tonnes of crude oil at MRPL’s Single Mooring Point.According to New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) sources, MRPL will receive multiple consignments in the coming days. Oasis is scheduled to deliver 99,900 tonnes of crude on Monday. This will be followed on Tuesday by Bourbon with 20,000 tonnes of Aviation Turbine Fuel (L) (ATF(L)) and Qiu Chi with 35,000 tonnes of Motor Spirit (L) (MS(L)).LPG supplies have also begun to arrive. The Singapore-flagged Pyxis Pioneer berthed on Sunday morning after departing Port of Nederland, Texas, on Feb 14. The vessel is unloading 16,714 tonnes of LPG for Aegis Logistics Limited and is scheduled to sail on Monday.Further consignments are lined up. Blage is expected on Tuesday with 30,600 tonnes of MS and High-speed Diesel (HSD) for Nayara Energy.
