Nagpur: The Crime Branch Anti-Narcotics Squad arrested two persons and seized 55 kg ganja from Dahibazar near Dalal Chowk area under Shanti Nagar police station limits on Sunday.Acting on suspicion during patrolling around 5.10 pm, the team raided a closed tin shed in front of one Sheikh Wasim’s house. They detained Sheikh Javed Sheikh Munna Rain (35), and Mohammad Harun Rashid Pinjari (39).Police recovered 55 kg ganja packed in plastic bags, three mobile phones, weighing scales, Rs1.35 lakh cash and an unregistered moped valued at Rs 16.50 lakh from their possession. The duo revealed that their accomplice Vicky (35) from Odisha supplied the contraband for sale.A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at Shanti Nagar police station. Both accused have been arrested.
