Berhampur: Disproportionate assets worth over Rs 1.27 crore of former executive engineer, Jonk canal irrigation division, Nuapada will be confiscated following a court order. Ashapurna Mohapatra, special judge of the vigilance court-cum-the authorized officer, special vigilance court, Bhubaneswar on Friday passed the order.The assets of the accused, Prafulla Kumar Panigrahy of Berhampur, included a multi-storied building at Tulasi Nagar and three plots at Rajendra Nagar in Berhampur. Panigrahi was convicted by the special vigilance judge of the vigilance court, Bhubaneswar on March 31, 2014.
