Nagpur: A police constable has gone missing after he was allegedly roughed up by an assistant police inspector at the Cyber Cell police station on Friday, sources said.The senior officer accused the constable of leaking confidential information to the press, leading to a heated argument and physical altercation. The constable later lodged a complaint with JtCP Navinchandra Reddy, who ordered an inquiry into the matter. However, the constable went underground soon after, triggering a massive search operation involving multiple police stations, including the crime branch.The constable’s family and colleagues have expressed concern, stating that despite repeated attempts to contact him, he remains untraceable.The incident has caused significant unrest within the Cyber Cell, with the police now investigating both the assault and the mysterious disappearance.
