Coimbatore: A police head constable died after he lost control of his motorcycle and fell on the road near Vellakovil in Tirupur district early on Sunday morning.The deceased has been identified as Boopathy, from Murugamplyam near Kodumudi. He was attached to the Velayuthampalayam police station in Karur district.He lost control of his bike when approaching a turn and fell off the vehicle. His head hit a roadside milestone causing severe injuries. He was rushed to the Kangeyam govt hospital, however, doctors declared him dead.He is survived by his wife Indumathi, 33, son Sivaprasath, 10, and daughter Nethra, 8.Further probe is on.
