Akola: A simmering political dispute between Congress and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), which had been brewing since the municipal elections, led to a violent clash on Sunday, reports Dhananjay Sable. One person was critically injured, while four others sustained injuries. According to police, the rivalry reached a flashpoint during the mayoral elections, where a minor argument quickly spiraled into a heated confrontation.
