COIMBATORE: Southern Railway has announced partial cancellation of Coimbatore – Chennai Central Intercity Express to facilitate engineering work at Arakkonam railway yard. No 12680 Coimbatore – Chennai Central Intercity Express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore Jn at 6.20am, will be short-terminated at Katpadi and partially cancelled between Katpadi and Chennai Central on June 25, 26, 27 and 28. The train will run from Coimbatore to Katpadi only. No 12679 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Intercity Express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 2.30 pm, will be partially cancelled between Chennai Central and Katpadi on June 25, 26, 27 and 28. The train will not run from Chennai Central to Katpadi. It will leave from Katpadi at 4.15pm and run up to Coimbatore Jn on the above-mentioned dates.
