New Delhi: Delhi University on Tuesday launched a new initiative, “Coffee with the Vice-Chancellor,” aimed at creating a direct platform for students to share concerns and interact with the university’s top leadership.

The inaugural session saw a group of ten Miranda House students engage with vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh at his office, where they discussed a range of academic and campus-related issues.

Singh responded to queries on curriculum reforms, skill development and the university’s efforts to align courses with industry requirements.

He further encouraged students to use emerging technologies like artificial intelligence responsibly. “Make AI your assistant, not your master,” he said, stressing the need to retain critical thinking while leveraging digital tools.

Similar sessions are expected to be held with students from other colleges to widen participation.
