Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath‘s impromptu interaction with an Indian-origin kid wherein he is seen helping the child complete a sacred Yajur Veda Shiva mantra, commonly chanted during aarti, has gone viral on social media.The meeting was not on Yogi’s itinerary. In the video, Yogi is seen interacting with an Indian-origin woman, who spoke to the CM in Hindi. After a brief exchange, she introduced her son to the CM.
The kid began reciting the mantra– ‘Karpur Gauram Karunavataram’. When he forgot a part of the mantra, the CM helped him complete it. In an interaction with another child, the CM chanted ‘Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu’ with him and then gave him chocolate after the boy touched his feet. The CM praised the family for keeping Indian values and traditions alive while living abroad. “In this meeting, I felt the vibrant essence of the Sanatan tradition. Witnessing the radiance of Indian culture on the land of the rising sun is indeed a matter of pride,” he said.
