Lucknow: During his visit to Ayodhya on Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath announced that Khironi-Suchittaganj Nagar Panchayat will now be named after Maa Jwala, while Bhadarsa Nagar Panchayat will be renamed Bharatpur Bharatkund.The CM also unveiled a statue of late Munna Singh Chauhan, former irrigation and flood control minister of Uttar Pradesh. Paying tribute to Chauhan, the CM said that he had been born into an ordinary family and had to go through immense struggle to progress in life.“He dedicated his life to the successful running of the irrigation department and to the uplift of farmers. He handed over his legacy to Amit Singh Chauhan. He too is continuously working under his mother’s guidance to fulfill his father’s dreams, to develop Bikapur, and bring the vision of the double-engine government to the ground. He brings every problem before us and we get it resolved,” the CM said.The CM also interacted with children at the event, and performed annaprashan for some of them.
