Patna: CM Samrat Choudhary, along with spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, inaugurated the three-day Bihar Mahotsav at The Art of Living International Centre in Bengaluru on Thursday. Bihar legislative assembly Speaker Prem Kumar and BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi accompanied the CM.The CM said ‘Bihar Mahotsav’ would offer people living in other parts of the country an opportunity to experience and appreciate Bihar’s rich heritage, culture, spiritual traditions, tourist destinations and the new face of its development.“This is a really joyous day for Bihar as Bihar Mahotsav is being celebrated on the premises of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s The Art of Living. I bow before him and also thank him for giving a place to Biharis here. I moved around the entire campus and felt that he wants to throw open the path to prosperity for Bihar,” CM Samrat said.The spiritual leader hailed Bihar and said devotees and participants enjoyed Bihari cuisine at the ashram. “People from Mongolia and different parts of India are here. We invite people from every state to celebrate their culture in order to promote the country’s ethos of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’,” Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said on the occasion.Earlier, a large number of people from Bihar welcomed the CM at the airport. He also visited the ‘Shri Shri Gaushala’ (cow shelter) to serve the cows and feed them fruits.
