Mumbai: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and his political rival Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray travelled on the same flight from Mumbai to Nagpur on Friday evening. Thackeray was accompanied by his MLA son Aaditya and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on the flight to Nagpur, the hometown of Fadnavis.Uddhav and Fadnavis exchanged brief pleasantries, and Raut too spoke with the CM.Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant said this was just a coincidence. “This was not a chartered flight, it was a regular service flight. The CM must be travelling to Nagpur to his constituency,” he said.Sena (UBT) functionaries said Thackeray was travelling to Nagpur to begin a three-day tour of the Vidarbha and Marathwada regions, where he is scheduled to meet party workers in the Lok Sabha constituencies represented by the six rebel MPs who recently joined the Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. He will start the tour from Yavatmal, Hingoli, Parbhani and Dharashiv, and then visit Shirdi.On Sunday, Uddhav visited shakhas in North East Mumbai in Bhandup and Kanjurmarg, the constituency of rebel MP Sanjay Dina Patil.
