Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai after the actor-politician underwent surgery on his right shoulder.Chandrababu Naidu met Pawan Kalyan, his wife Anna Konidala, and the team of doctors supervising his treatment. The Chief Minister enquired about his health and received an update on his post-surgery recovery. Ministers Narayana and Anagani Satya Prasad accompanied him during the hospital visit.After meeting Pawan Kalyan, Naidu shared a message on social media wishing him a speedy recovery. He wrote, “I visited Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, who is undergoing treatment in Mumbai today. I wish him a speedy recovery. @PawanKalyan.”
Doctors say surgery was successful
As reported by TOI City, the medical team confirmed the operation was completed successfully and Pawan Kalyan is recovering well. Doctors have confirmed that his condition remains stable and that he is responding positively to treatment.Talking to the media after the visit, Chandrababu Naidu said the surgery lasted around three and a half hours and was performed by a team of specialist doctors.He added that Pawan Kalyan has been advised to take adequate rest before gradually returning to his official responsibilities. As part of the recovery process, doctors have recommended nearly three weeks of physiotherapy.Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the Deputy Chief Minister would return to work after completing his rehabilitation programme.
Doctors monitoring left shoulder condition
Apart from the right shoulder surgery, doctors also identified an issue with Pawan Kalyan’s left shoulder.However, the medical team decided not to proceed with immediate treatment. Instead, they will assess the condition again after six months before deciding whether surgery or physiotherapy alone will be sufficient.Chandrababu Naidu also revealed that Pawan Kalyan had been living with injuries in both shoulders for several years.
Pawan Kalyan eager to return to work
Even as doctors advised him to focus on recovery, Pawan Kalyan is reportedly keen to resume his responsibilities as soon as possible.Chandrababu Naidu said the Deputy Chief Minister expressed his desire to return to public life at the earliest despite being instructed to prioritise rest and rehabilitation.

Pawan Kalyan continues to remain active in cinema. His most recent theatrical release was ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, which arrived in cinemas on March 19 this year.
