Hazaribagh: A minor clash broke out between police and participants of a Mangala procession near Lebra Jamua at the Barkattha–Gorhar police station border on Tuesday evening leading to stone pelting and injuries to five to six people including policemen.Officials said the procession was stopped as it lacked route permission, triggering a scuffle that escalated briefly. SDM Johan Tudu said rumours of a communal clash were baseless and clarified it was between police and procession members. SDPO Ajit Kumar Bimal said FIR will be lodged in this case. Police dispersed the crowd, seized several bikes and said the situation is now under control.
