Mumbai: Backing the Shiv Sena (UBT)-MNS protest, held two days after Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) stir against chief election commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, the outfit’s founder, Abhijeet Dipke, on Sunday said the city is out on the streets again for free and fair elections. “Solidarity with all the protesters. All Indians need to come together. It’s now or never!” he said in a post on X.Again contrasting police’s handling of protests in Delhi and Mumbai, Dipke said, “Don’t ask how protests are being allowed in Mumbai. There’s a big cultural difference between Maharashtra Police & Delhi Police.” He had earlier showered praise on Mumbai police during CJP’s protest at Shivaji Park on Oct 2, calling it the best police force in the country.
