Thiruvananthapuram: ICSE and ISC students in schools in and around the city performed well when the results of Class X and XII were published on Thursday.As many as 178 students, among the 198 who appeared for the ICSE (Class X) exam in St Thomas Residential School, won distinction. As many as 20 others won first class. Jeremy Mani Cherian is school first with 98.8% marks. S Advika and Mahadevan Rajan shared the second rank with 98.6% each. In the ISC (Class XII) exam, Durga B S and Hannah A shared the first rank in science stream with 99.5% marks. Devananda A S is school topper in commerce stream (89.5%) and Dania Suzanne John is topper in humanities stream (97%). Of the total 168 candidates who appeared for ICSE exam in Christ Nagar School, Knowdiar, 70 scored 90% and above. Students at the school bagged 146 distinctions and others secured first class. Rishi G and Abdul Haadhi R shared the first rank by scoring 98.6% each. Ananya Kumar and Abhiram N Narayan won the second rank with 98% score. In ISC, 43 of 73 candidates scored 90% and above. As many as 69 candidates got distinction and others passed with first class. Niranjana Rajesh is school topper with 99.25% marks and Vismaya Unnikrishnan won the second rank (98%). At Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, 185 candidates, out of total 223 students who appeared for ICSE got distinction. Devadathan B and Ishaan S Amar are school toppers with 98.8% marks. Juhi Fathima Luli is ISC school topper by scoring 99.5%. Of the 140 students who appeared in the commerce and science streams, 115 got distinction and 25 others got first class.
