Kolkata: The state govt will develop cities as “growth engines” to facilitate business and industrial activities, urban development and municipal affairs minister Agnimitra Paul said on Friday. Paul also assured investors that steps would be taken to improve ease of doing business. “The process of sanctioning building plans and trade licences will be digitised. We plan to construct a flyover from Bypass Dhaba to Rajarhat and a ring road in Kolkata,” she said at a business event in the city.
