Bengaluru: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID), probing irregularities in the KPSC recruitment of veterinary officers, has issued a lookout notice for KPSC member Shanta Hosamani, who reportedly went missing after Enforcement Directorate (ED) searches.Sources said the ED and CID have asked Hosamani to appear for questioning. However, she has reportedly switched off her phone and remains untraceable. Meanwhile, officers are questioning IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar and Basavaraj Kannale for the seventh consecutive day. Their police custody ends on Sept 9.Sahukar denies involvementShivashankarappa Sahukar told CID that his interactions with Gyanendra were limited to administrative matters and that they never discussed financial transactions or examination-related issues. He also claimed he had never met Basavaraj face-to-face and denied any involvement in the irregularities.Bank accounts frozenInvestigators have frozen several bank accounts linked to the case. These include the personal accounts of Gyanendra and Basavaraj, accounts in cooperative banks in Bhalki, and private banks in Belagavi and Kalaburagi. Accounts belonging to their close associates have also reportedly been frozen.
