Kolkata: Chingrighata flyover will remain shut till 8 am on Monday for conducting the first phase of Metro’s Orange line work from Kavi Subhash to the Airport. The flyover was closed from 8 pm on Friday for segment launching work between pillars 325 to 326.With the flyover closed, vehicles coming from the EM Bypass and Beleghata Main Road intersection and Chingrighata crossing travelling towards Salt Lake, are being diverted from Beleghata Main Road and EM Bypass crossing towards Broadway during this period. Vehicles can move towards Salt Lake by turning around from Building More.The flyover will remain closed again from 8 pm on July 3 to 8 am of July 6 for segment launching work between pillars 326 to 327. —Suman Chakraborti
