Gurgaon: The district administration has arranged transport facilities for candidates appearing in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C positions by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission on July 26-27. Shuttle services will operate from multiple points, including Laser Valley parking in Sector 29 and Tau Devi Lal stadium. The district has set up 145 exam centres to accommodate 36,372 candidates per session across four sessions. Candidates from districts like Rohtak, Rewari, and Sonipat will take the CET exam in the district.Deputy commissioner, Gurgaon, Ajay Kumar, said, “Shuttle services have been arranged to ensure aspirants reach the exam centres on time.” The bus services will operate from Laser Valley Parking Sector 29, Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Rajiv Chowk Parking, Manesar, and SGT University, located in village Budhera, for aspirants coming from outside on both days. Exam centres for candidates from Gurugram district will be in Faridabad.Extensive preparations are underway for the CET, said the deputy commissioner, adding, “The main objective is to conduct the exam without cheating, transparently, and peacefully. Ensuring that candidates face no difficulties is a shared responsibility.”He also mentioned that arrangements will be ensured for differently-abled candidates by the district administration, adding that no officer or employee will have leave on the exam days.Earlier, Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, via video conference, reviewed the preparations for the eligibility test in all districts, including Gurgaon, and instructed officials to make proper arrangements for the participating candidates. He also directed the establishment of help desks and ensured aspirants reached the exam centres on time.
