Kolkata: A 39-year-old central government employee, Emon Roy, died after falling from the balcony-cum-refuge area of a commercial building in DJ Block, Salt Lake, on Friday evening.Police said Roy, a resident of Graham Road in Regent Park, fell from the balcony of her workplace around 5 pm. She was taken to Bidhannagar Sub-Divisional Hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.Police said no suicide note was found. Roy, survived by her husband and two children, had reportedly been suffering from depression. After examination of CCTV footage showed no evidence of foul play, said police. Bidhannagar East PS officers have sent the body for post-mortem.
