Hazaribag: A family’s Raksha Bandhan celebrations turned into mourning on Friday evening after a trailer crushed a 10-year-old boy outside a house at Singharawan on GT Road in Hazaribag’s Chouparan block. Aarav Kumar, who had come from Barkatha with his family to celebrate at a relative’s home, was hit when the trailer allegedly overtook another vehicle from the left. Residents detained the driver and handed him over to police. Villagers demanded speed control measures and stricter traffic enforcement along the stretch.
