Mangaluru: CCB sleuths in Mangaluru have arrested Sahul Hameed, wanted in six cases, including the Dinesh Raj murder case.Dinesh Raj, manager of a textile showroom in the city, was hacked to death by four unidentified persons in Feb 2012.City police commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy CH said the court had issued proclamations against Sahul Hameed in three cases. He was wanted in cases related to kidnapping, extortion, obstructing a public servant and attempted murder.The commissioner said three cases are registered against him at Ullal police station, and one each at Mangaluru Rural, Mangaluru North and Barke police stations. He is also an accused in the attempt to murder Sasikiran inside the jail.He had been absconding for 11 years, the commissioner said. Sahul had earlier been acquitted in the Narasimha Shettigar and Polali Ananthu murder cases.A fresh case will be registered against him for failing to appear before the court despite the issuance of warrants and proclamations.
