CBSE Class 12th supplementary exam result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Class 12th compartment result 2025 on or before August 5, 2025. The board conducted the supplementary examination on July 15, 2025, for students who did not qualify in one or more subjects during the main examination session.Based on past result trends, the announcement is expected in early August. In 2024 and 2023, the results were declared on August 2 and August 1, respectively. To check the result, students will need their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and security pin as mentioned on their admit card.The result will contain subject-wise marks, qualifying status, and grades. It is advised to download and save a digital copy of the mark sheet for future reference.Number of students who appeared in 2024 and pass percentageIn the CBSE Class 12th supplementary exams held in 2024, a total of 1,31,396 students registered, of which 1,27,437 appeared. A total of 37,957 students passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to 29.78 percent.Main exam performance and grading changes from 2024–25 sessionFor the academic year 2024–25, CBSE introduced a ‘Relative Grading’ system to evaluate students in comparison to their peer group. This replaces the fixed range grading model. The new system allows grade boundaries to vary based on subject-wise performance trends and the number of passing candidates.In the CBSE Class 12 main exams held in 2025, 17,04,367 students registered. Out of these, 16,92,794 appeared and 14,96,307 passed. The result was declared on May 13, 2025.
