Students of Amity International School in Sector 44 celebrate after the results on Wednesday.

Noida: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced the Class 10 results, with several students from Noida region delivering exceptional performances, some even achieving the perfect score.Among the high scorers is Daksh Vasudeva of Amity International School in Vasundhara’s Sector 6, who scored 100%. Yogit Jain from JKG International School secured 99.8%, while Shreyashi Jha from Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, and Armaan Mittal from Amity International School and Trishar Das, each scored 99.6%. CBSE does not release a list of toppers, but schools release their individual lists. However, the overall pass percentage in the Noida region — which spans 18 districts, including Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad — continued its downward trend, albeit marginally this year. The pass rate stood at 87.66%, compared to 89.41% in 2025 and 90.97% in 2024. Despite the decline, the region witnessed strong individual performances and retained a robust overall success rate.According to board data, of the 1,53,763 students who appeared for the examination in the Noida region, 1,34,787 cleared it.Among boys, 77,448 out of 90,323 candidates passed, translating to a pass percentage of 85.8%. Girls once again outperformed boys, with 57,339 of 63,440 candidates clearing the exam — a pass rate of 90.38%.The scale of the examination remains significant in the region, with approximately 3.1 lakh candidates registered this year. The exams were conducted across 1,375 schools and 332 centres spanning 18 districts.Educationists noted that while overall performance has remained steady, greater focus is needed on core subjects.“The relatively lower scores in English and mathematics remind us that we still have important work to do. These subjects are essential life skills. This is a gentle but important signal for schools and parents to collaborate more closely — to build strong reading habits, encourage expression, and make mathematics more experiential and less intimidating. At the same time, it is heartening to see the system moving towards competency-based learning and reducing unhealthy competition,” said Neha Sharma, CBSE district coordinator and principal at Apeejay School.Delhi outscored the national average pass percentage of 93.7% this year and stood at 97.2%. In 2025, Delhi’s overall pass percentage stood at 95.1%. Of the 3,14,562 students who appeared for the exam in the national capital, 3,05,787 cleared it. Meanwhile, the Gurgaon region — comprising 12 districts, including Faridabad, Gurgaon, Palwal and Sonepat — delivered a pass percentage of 93.2%, with some high performers achieving a perfect score.Alongside the results, CBSE also announced the schedule and guidelines for the Class 10 second board examination for students seeking to improve their scores. As per the notification, submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) will begin after the declaration of results.
