Ahmedabad: A 74-year-old retired woman approached Vastrapur police station alleging that gold jewellery worth around Rs 5 lakh was stolen from her residence while she was recovering from a knee surgery.According to her complaint, she underwent a knee surgery on June 13 and was discharged two days later. During her hospitalisation, her house remained locked for around three days.
