Mangaluru: The Mangaluru South police have booked a first division assistant attached to the Mangaluru police commissioner’s office for allegedly submitting duplicate medical bills.According to police, the woman allegedly submitted fraudulent medical reimbursement claims worth Rs 4.8 lakh of her mother’s and husband’s treatment. The account superintendent noticed discrepancies in the bills, signature and brought the matter to the attention of senior officials. Jaipur: RIICO-run Special Economic Zones (SEZs) at Sitapura exported goods worth Rs 2,712 crore in the April-June quarter, signalling a strong recovery after high US tariffs forced a decline in FY26.If the pace holds, annual exports from the zones could surpass the earlier peak of Rs 10,000 crore.
