ULHASNAGAR: The MMRDA has instructed the road contractor to carry out repair and reconstruction work on newly constructed cement roads worth Rs 52 crore in Ulhasnagar, following multiple complaints about substandard construction. The corrective action covers two important road stretches—from Kailas Colony to Netaji Chowk and from New English School to Lal Chakki—where cracks and surface damage were noticed at several locations.
