Patna: The state cabinet on Monday cleared the govt’s proposal to create ‘Vishisht Vishwavidyalaya’ (Special University) in the state, a high-level source said.He said following the clearance of the proposal, the govt would move a Bill in this regard in the state assembly for its passage and enactment into an Act. The proposed legislation will empower the govt to establish a Special University.Further, in pursuance of the Centre’s advisory on prison reforms, the cabinet also cleared the proposal for framing rules related to the categorisation of criminals.
