Pune: Pune Rural police on Friday registered a case against a man from Pune city on the charge of outraging the modesty of a 14-year-old girl. The girl’s mother lodged a complaint with the police.An officer from the Pune Rural police said the girl had come into contact with the man in June. He had told her to contact him if she needed any help in the future. On July 9, the accused contacted her and asked her to come to Pune. “The girl’s mother alleged that the accused had outraged the girl’s modesty in Pune. We have registered a case. Our investigation is underway,” the officer said.
