Uri, Sep 19: A joint workshop on capacity development and pension adalat was presided over by Principal Accountant General (A&E), Jammu & Kashmir Jay Prakash Narayan Singh, Deputy Accountant General (Pension) Mukesh Kumar Bramhane, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Uri, Prince Kumar, District Treasury Officer, Parvaiz Ahmad Sheikh, Treasury officer Uri Mohd Shafi Lone and Accounts Officer to DC Office Baramulla, Ilka Hassan, besides DDOs, pensioners and other participants, attended the programme.
The program was held in collaboration with the District Treasury Office Baramulla and Sub Treasury Office Uri at Government Degree College (GDC) Uri.
The program was aimed at addressing accounting-related issues and pension matters and providing necessary guidance and clarification to government employees, pensioners and other concerned stakeholders.
It provided an opportunity for participants to raise their issues and seek clarification regarding accounting procedures, pension cases and other related matters.
During the pension adalat, pensioners put forward their grievances before the concerned officials, who provided necessary clarification and assured that the issues raised would be examined and addressed as per the applicable rules.
