2 CUJ profs to present research papers in int’l seminarTwo senior assistant professors of the Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ)–Upendra Kumar Satyarthi and Vibhuti Bhushan Biswas will present their research papers at the two-day international seminar to be held on Sept 25 and 26 at Sabaragamuwa University, Sri Lanka. Tech (petroleum engineering) from the institute, towards its centenary endowment. The contribution has been made in memory of his parents. The endowment aims to provide financial support to deserving students and promote academic excellence, enabling young learners to pursue higher education and realise their aspirations.XCITE, XLRI announces inaugural cohortThe XLRI Council for Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship (XCITE), supported by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, has announced 51 rural ventures under its mission to strengthen entrepreneurship across eastern and north-eastern India. The ventures from nine states have 25 women-led and 20 scheduled tribe led ventures. The projects span agriculture and allied activities, food processing, craft and handloom, manufacturing, rural value chains and circular economy.Approval for online programmesUsha Martin University has received approval for its online undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by the University Grants Commission–distance education bureau (UGC–DEB) for the academic session 2026–27.
