Jaipur: The state govt has incurred budgetary expenditure of Rs 92,316.14 crore till Aug 2026 which is 24.51% higher than the expenditure during the corresponding period of the previous year.Of the budget announcements made between 2024-25 and 2026-27, 1,373 have been completed, while work on 1,518 is in progress.This was stated during a review meeting of the committee of secretaries chaired by chief secretary V Srinivas Thursday.Srinivas directed departments to implement schemes and budget announcements on the ground within a stipulated timeframe, ensure proper utilisation of available funds and dispose of pending cases promptly.He reviewed the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes, budget announcements, RajKaj and e-File, public grievances, Hariyalo Rajasthan, Raj Nivesh and recruitment processes.Reviewing RajKaj and e-File, Srinivas stressed the need to make file disposal more effective and reduce unnecessary levels in the process. He also directed officials to ensure effective disposal of public grievances and reviewed the progress of Rajasthan Sampark.Officials informed the meeting that 59,17,908 of the 60,05,840 complaints registered through Rajasthan Sampark so far had been disposed of. Srinivas directed that the remaining pending cases be cleared promptly while ensuring the quality of disposal.Reviewing Raj Nivesh Portal, the chief secretary directed officials to dispose of investors’ applications within the prescribed timeframe. The meeting was informed that 49,442 applications had been received through the portal up to Aug in the current financial year, with 190 services currently available.On recruitment, Srinivas directed departments to complete pending processes in a time-bound manner as per prescribed rules. Officials said 1,86,803 appointments had been made as of Sept 9 against recruitment processes for 2,99,925 posts.
