BENGALURU: BSides Bangalore will host its Annual Cybersecurity Conference 2026 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Whitefield, on Thursday, July 9, bringing together cybersecurity professionals, government officials, researchers and industry leaders to discuss emerging cyber threats, artificial intelligence and digital security.The day-long conference, scheduled from 9am to 6pm, will feature keynote addresses, executive tabletop simulations, CXO roundtables, panel discussions, technical talks and live demonstrations.Tejasvi Surya and Dr Purushottam Y, deputy director at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), will attend the event as distinguished chief guests.The conference agenda includes a CISO War Room Simulation focusing on responses to advanced cyber threats, along with hands-on workshops on hacking agentic AI, MCP security, AI governance and leadership. Researchers and cybersecurity professionals will present original work and live demonstrations during dedicated technical sessions.Other highlights include a Wonder Women Capture the Flag (W2-CTF) competition, a startup showcase titled EmergeX: Unveiling Innovation, mentoring sessions with CXOs and technology leaders, a career fair supported by Tesco, and a Live Hacking Village featuring demonstrations on drone hacking and lock-picking.The organisers will also present Excellence Awards recognising contributions to the cybersecurity ecosystem. Participants will receive a welcome kit comprising a laptop bag, pen and hoodie.The conference will also feature quizzes, networking opportunities and prize giveaways.
