BJP MP Anurag Thakur on Monday called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a “Hawa-Hawai” politician and accused him of making allegations without evidence. Speaking at a press conference, Thakur said Gandhi should provide evidence and seek proper answers instead of engaging in political gimmicks.

“We need evidence, not allegations. There should be no political gimmick, but proper answers,” Thakur said.

Thakur also referred to the President and the Supreme Court while questioning Gandhi’s approach to the matter. He said the President had asked Gandhi to provide evidence and claimed that the Supreme Court had cautioned him against using the court as a political platform.

“How can you approach CJI when the matter is sub-judice,” Thakur asked.
