Bengaluru: An email threatening to trigger explosions at Kempegowda International Airport sparked panic, prompting swift action by authorities to ensure passenger safety. After a thorough check, the threat was declared a hoax.According to the complaint filed by airport staff Tuesday, the threat email was received at 11.14am on April 5 at the airport’s customer engagement centre’s email ID, appellateauthority@bialairport.com and customer.service@carebyblr.com from seema_kunjan@outlook.com.According to officials, the email warned of explosive devices planted on the airport premises and called for immediate evacuation of VIP passengers and staff.
