Bokaro: Fire safety awareness drives are being actively conducted across schools to equip students with life-saving skills. As part of the fire service week observed from April 14 to 20, a comprehensive awareness programme was organised at Delhi Public School, Bokaro, by the CISF unit of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL).The initiative aimed to educate students, school staff and security personnel on fire prevention and emergency response. CISF fire inspectors Rajesh Kumar Rai and Nilesh Kumar, along with head constable AA Khan and constable J Hajong, conducted both theoretical sessions and practical demonstrations.Highlighting this year’s theme, “Safe Schools, Safe Hospitals and a Fire-Aware Society”, officials stressed that awareness among children is crucial in preventing accidents.Students were trained in the use of various fire extinguishers, with hands-on demonstrations.
