Vadodara: The Dahod special operations group (SOG) on Sunday arrested a bogus doctor from Lakhanpur village. The accused identified as 20-year-old Pranjal Asit had been practicing as a doctor for the last few months.The police said that it had received a tip-off about the bogus doctor, following which they raided his clinic and found him treating the patients and prescribing them medicines. Asit failed to provide his medical degree. The cops then seized all the medicines and injections at the clinic, and arrested Asit who is a resident of West Bengal.
