Varanasi: The body of a local youth Jaggu Ram (40) was found lying in a pool of blood along a canal road in Bihda village under Mirzamurad police station. The body was identified by his sister.Following spot inspection, ACP (Rajatalab) Veer Singh said that the body has been sent for postmortem examination and the report is awaited to know the actual cause of death.Initial investigation revealed that Jaggu worked at a food outlet (dhaba) and had not come to home for past several days.The family members said that Jaggu had married a visually impaired woman five months ago against the wish of his in-laws. They suspect the involvement of his in-laws in his killing.The forensic team collected evidence from the spot.Bloodstains were found at several places near the body and marks of injuries were found on the body.Official said that further action will be taken on the basis of the postmortem report and the written complaint from the family. All aspects would be investigated, said the official.
