Koderma: The body of a seven-year-old boy was found in a well near his home under Domchanch police station limits of the district on Wednesday. Police suspected that the deceased Aryan Kumar, a resident of Dhariyawar village, was strangled to death after he witnessed the secret affair of his mother Mila Devi with one of her relatives, Ashok Yadav ,27.Mila, 25, in her FIR, initially claimed that Aryan was taken from her by two masked men who broke into her home late on Tuesday night. The cops found her story inconsistent and questioned her. Following Mila’s questioning, Ashok was taken into custody. Ashok then led the police to the well where Aryan’s body was found. Police suspected that it was Ashok who entered Mila’s house and killed Aryan to prevent their relationship getting exposed. Mila and Ashok were later arrested.The discovery of the body sparked massive outrage among the villagers, who turned violent and pelted stones at the family’s home after locking the child’s grandparents inside. “A special investigation team cracked the case within 10 hours,” SP Anudeep Singh said.“Ashok had gone to Mila’s house with his friend Sonu Yadav in an inebriated state at night. Aryan saw them in an objectionable position and started shouting. Ashok and Sonu then strangled the child and threw in the nearby well. The mother of the victim was also involved in it,” Singh said. Raids are underway to arrest Sonu, the police said.
