Jaisalmer: A decomposed body of a man was found in a well on the outskirts of Dantal village in Jaisalmer district Saturday.Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Chohatn police station Sumerdan Charan said villagers reported a body inside a well Saturday. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene with the rescue team. The body was retrieved from the well with help of divers. It was found to be in an advanced state of decomposition and estimated to be over four months old. However, Loonaram from the village identified the body as his son Dinesh (35) who went missing five months ago in Feb based on clothing. The body has been placed in mortuary of Community Health Centre in Phalodi. The police has called a team to conduct a DNA test to confirm the identity.
