Chandigarh: The body of a 27-year-old resident of Kansal village in Mohali was found in the forest area between Sukhna Lake and Kishangarh village late on Saturday evening. The deceased was missing since Feb 10, and a missing person complaint was filed at Nayagaon police station. Police suspect that the death was caused by a drug overdose. The body has been kept in the mortuary of GMSH-16 for autopsy. Sources said Pankaj’s family members, who were searching for him, reached the area near Sukhna Lake and found his bike parked outside the forest area. They went inside and found his body. Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased was a drug addict and was admitted in a de-addiction centre. It is said that he fled from there.
