Dhanbad: A Tiranga Yatra organised by the BJP in Dhanbad on Thursday was briefly disrupted when two party workers allegedly came to blows at the Zila Parishad ground just as the rally was about to begin.The altercation broke out between BJP workers Amarjeet Kumar and Rita Yadav following an argument. A purported video of the incident, showing the two engaged in a scuffle, later surfaced.Amarjeet alleged that Rita claimed the rally had been organised at her direction and used abusive language during the argument. He said he asked her to mind her language and pointed out that the event was being held under the leadership of BJP district president Shravan Rai.The disagreement soon escalated into a physical confrontation, with the two allegedly assaulting each other. Other party workers intervened and separated them before the situation could worsen.The yatra subsequently proceeded along its designated route, passing through Randhir Verma Chowk before culminating at City Centre. Led by Rai, the procession was attended by a large number of party workers and supporters.Rai played down the incident, describing it as a minor disagreement caused by a misunderstanding.
