Kolkata: BJP former state president Rahul Sinha filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha election on Thursday. However, the nomination saw some drama and took a lot of time, with papers not in place.Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya, leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari and BJP chief whip Shankar Ghosh accompanied Sinha to assembly . “Our candidate was declared on Tuesday and we had a holiday in Bengal on Tuesday and Wednesday. Some documents were pending, but we filed it well before the stipulated time,” Adhikari said. Sinha said “I will try to become the voice of the people of Bengal in Rajya Sabha.”
