Jaipur: BJP will launch a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp’ campaign across Rajasthan on Sept 17, to coincide with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking his 25 years in public life and take govt welfare schemes and their benefits to people.BJP state president Madan Rathore said the campaign would continue till Oct 17 and be organised from the state level to the booth level, with party workers, ministers and elected representatives participating in various activities. The campaign will begin with the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme, he said.Addressing the media, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that under ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’, schools would organise painting, drawing and speech competitions on the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and Modi’s 25 years of public service.The ‘Namo Seva-Ankahi Kahaniyan’ initiative will use music, theatre and street plays to highlight the changes brought about by govt welfare schemes and take these stories to villages. ‘Aangan Milan Seva’ will focus on anganwadi centres and include the felicitation of Anganwadi and ASHA workers, besides spreading information about nutrition, health and women-related schemes.The ‘Seva Ki Kahani’ programme will highlight the experiences of beneficiaries and the changes in their lives through govt schemes. “A major component will be the ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’, under which camps will be organised at the block level to provide information about central and state government welfare schemes and help eligible people with applications and the process of availing benefits,” said Sharma.The ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ will be organised on Oct 7 as part of the campaign, with participants taking a pledge towards the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. The campaign will also include youth-led ‘Seva Yatras’ between Vadnagar in Gujarat, Modi’s birthplace, and Varanasi, his Lok Sabha constituency.Sharma said the campaign would also include ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’, encouraging people to participate in voluntary service activities. ‘Seva Ke Rang-Rashtra Ke Sang’ will use human rangolis and creative activities to showcase welfare schemes and the message of ‘Viksit Bharat’.The ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’ will involve students, young people, startups, professionals and corporate innovators in developing solutions related to public welfare and policy. The campaign will conclude on Oct 17 with the ‘Sushasan Seva Samvad’ programme.
