Guwahati: BJP has drawn up a detailed campaign blueprint for the Assam assembly elections, with CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announcing that the party’s outreach will formally begin on March 24.“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been requested to campaign for three days, with hopes that he will be available for at least two. Union home minister Amit Shah is expected to address eight rallies,” Sarma said, adding that BJP president Nitin Nabin and former presidnt JP Nadda will also join the campaign trail.
Sarma said he will file his nomintaion for Jalukbari constutuency on Friday.The election management committee, headed by Pradan Baurah, has lined up a packed schedule of four meetings and one rally daily, ensuring maximum visibility across constituencies.“We have alreday touched all seats while distributing MMUA funds and with the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, we have covered nearly 1,500 km,” Sarma said.Sarma said the he aims to cover 100 constituencies in the 20 days left before polls, combining mass rallies with grassroots outreach. “Every detail has been finalised for a smooth rollout,” Sarma added.
